Lloyd Ronald (Ron) Hight grew up in San Diego California. He attended the University of California at San Diego and Art Center College in Los Angeles, majoring in illustration and graphic design.

Over the years Lloyd has expanded his business services to include fine art, faux painting and murals for business and private homes. He also creates 3-D replicas and foam models for museums, schools and science displays.

Lloyd has taught watercolor painting to 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students in the San Diego school district, to adults in several retail settings as well as private lessons in acrylics and watercolor.

Lloyd Ronald made several trips to Kenya, Africa to work on large floor and wall murals in an environmental education center. In 2016 he travelled to Canada to help design and finish a science museum, laser tag and miniature golf Family Recreation Center in Southern Alberta.

In 2006, Lloyd started feeling restless about things in general. It was at that time that the word “Nashville” popped into his mind. He now believes that was a Word from God, which was repeated over several months. As Lloyd says, “Not a sentence, just the word “Nashville” … I guess God didn’t want me to get confused by using any other big words.”

In August of ‘06, Lloyd & his family moved to Nashville and are so pleased to be part of the local, growing art community. Lloyd talks about the reality of Southern Hospitality and how refreshing it is to have neighbors wave to you and strike up conversations.

The somewhat organic process of working with clients from their vision to final product is always an adventure and always rewarding, as the original design becomes reality.

Founded in 1986 as Lloyd Hight Graphics, Lloyd’s passion for art evolved from a commercial art base and advertising environment to reflect a wide variety of interests.

His specialty is to fulfill the clients’ vision ultimately exceeding their expectations.
